I’ve tried everything, but nothing works. I feel like a brand new person, but the same old mistakes keep happening. We all want to be different, feel like a brand new person, and not making the same old mistakes. We want to be the person that doesn’t make the same mistakes over and over again. We want to be the person who is always in control and never makes decisions they regret or lose their temper when they get mad.

That’s not reality though, and it’s okay.
The reality is we are human and we make mistakes, we get mad, we lose our temper, and sometimes things don’t go our way.
It’s important for us as humans to not beat ourselves up for making mistakes or feeling negative emotions because that does nothing but create more negativity in your life.
Instead of beating yourself up for what you did wrong or how you feel try saying something like “I’m glad I learned from this mistake” or “I’m happy I’m feeling better now”, or “I want to be different but I don’t want to lose myself”. Those types of positive words help create a more positive mindset which allowed me to achieve my goals easier than if I was beating myself up over every little thing that happens in life.
