If we are to agree that good things come in small packages, look no further than eggs for evidence of that. They are budget-friendly, affordable, nutritious and tasty if you prepare them right. When I was first starting out on my path to a healthy lifestyle, I knew egg nutrition was important, but I was not yet fully aware of how many health benefits eggs presents.

If you value your eyesight, you might have, or haven’t heard of two little things called Lutein and Zeaxanthin. They are naturally occurring components of some plants and veggies, however, many people do not know that they are also contained in egg yolk. These two in combination helps prevent degenerative eye diseases.

Another thing to look out for is a B-type vitamin called Choline which is important for brain and muscle function as well as a myriad of other benefits.

It has come to the attention of scientists that now, eggs can almost serve as a substitute for coffee.
