Health Benefits of Eggs

If you value your eyesight, you might have, or haven’t heard of two little things called Lutein and Zeaxanthin. They are naturally occurring components of some plants and veggies, however, many people do not know that they are also contained in egg yolk. These two in combination helps prevent degenerative eye diseases.

Another thing to look out for is a B-type vitamin called Choline which is important for brain and muscle function as well as a myriad of other benefits.

Memory and eggs

It has come to the attention of scientists that now, eggs can almost serve as a substitute for coffee. Eggs are packed with vitamins that not only serve to help focus and concentration but to improve it considerably. In this regard, they are, of course, more efficient than carbohydrate-packed foods like chocolate or biscuits.

How to lose body fat with eggs

If you are like me, in your path to trimming the extra fat and to live a better lifestyle, you have spent a lot of time looking for optimal foods that are a realistic replacement for bad habits, that can be eaten every day as breakfast, for example. And unfortunately, eggs can easily be overlooked. Eggs can be your optimal diet superfood.

They are extremely rich in protein.

Chicken eggs have around 12 grams of protein per 100 grams. But what does it mean? It means that eggs are probably the single best way to start your day if you are gunning for a healthy, lean body. Perhaps you have a protein per day target to hit, or you are not getting enough protein in your later meals.

But why is protein so important?

Your body breaks down the protein you consume and uses it as a building block for the muscles, and that’s only one example. Protein signalizes for the body to burn more calories than consumed, making eggs a better component of a diet than carb-packed foods with similar calories.

The bottom line

Egg nutrition is something worth looking into. A tasty, affordable food option that gives you essential nutrients and vitamins for a healthy, strong lifestyle.
